About Me

Geo Rutherford is a working artist, illustrator, writer, and content creator. Her artistic practice includes printmaking, artist’s books, and large-scale mixed media works focusing on notions of invasiveness, impermanence, and the unseen in relation to the Great Lakes. Geo received a BFA from Eastern Michigan University and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a specialization in Printmaking and Book Arts. During the school year, she is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee teaching 2D Concepts, and in the summer, the Art Director at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.
