Ok, wait, maybe this is my favorite painting?? I love Tokyo and I love this river that barely ever sees the sky. The Japanese characters in the neon signs translate to the names of other rivers that have been buried underground in Tokyo. I included a real photograph that inspired the painting so you can see what artistic liberties I took (I know the Tokyo Skytree wouldn't really be visible here but I love it).
The original artwork was gouache on watercolor paper. This edition is Giclée printed on watercolor, 100% cotton rag, acid-free, archival paper.
