The paper is soft and beautiful, with the texture of the original watercolor paper I used to make my painting!
Ok, wait, maybe this is my favorite painting?? I love Tokyo and I love this river that barely ever sees the sky. The Japanese characters in the neon signs translate to the names of other rivers that have been buried underground in Tokyo.
The original artwork was gouache on watercolor paper. This edition is Giclée printed on watercolor, 100% cotton rag, acid-free, archival paper.
Paper Note: The artwork itself measures 11" × 14", but due to a printing error, the full paper size is 12.5" x 15.75". A standard pre-cut mat will fit the artwork perfectly, but it will cover the white border and the signature below the image. If you would like the signature to remain visible when framed, you will need a custom-cut mat with a slightly larger opening.

Your print will be carefully packaged with a backing board in a protective cover, then wrapped inside a rigid mailer to ensure it's protected during shipping. My mom packs all our orders so please be patient and let us know if you have an issues!
