Kaindy Lake Spooky Lakes Giclée Print
Kaindy Lake Spooky Lakes Giclée Print
This print is from the Spooky Lakes: 25 Strange and Mysterious Lakes that Dot Our Planet book!
These high-quality, beautiful Giclée prints are made locally in Madison, Wisconsin. The texture of the paper and the high-definition scan combined means that this print looks just like my original painting! The paper is soft and beautiful, with the texture of the original watercolor paper I used to make my painting!
Lake Kaindy, located in Kazakhstan's Tian Shan Mountains, is a striking alpine lake formed by a 1911 earthquake. Famous for its submerged forest, the lake's crystal-clear waters reveal sunken tree trunks that rise eerily above the surface, creating a surreal and hauntingly beautiful underwater landscape. Can you find 3 ghosties?
Book Secrets- I actually painted this exact diver 4 different times in the book wearing different colors. I just loved the way she worked in the compositions and then I didn't have to deal with painting a tiny underwater face 🤫
The original artwork was gouache on watercolor paper. This edition is Giclée printed on watercolor, 100% cotton rag, acid-free, archival paper.
11"x 14"
This is the first edition of 100, signed and dated
Your print will be carefully packaged with a backing board in a protective cover, then wrapped inside a rigid mailer to ensure it's protected during shipping.
P.S. I picked out Lake Kaindy, Lake Karachay, and Lake Baikal to make as prints because I loved them but also because they look great together. I added an image of how they look a group <3
