This sticker is based on a real sign from the Vostok Station! Except we changed the arrows to point to other famous Spooky Lakes!

Lake Vostok: One of the strangest freshwater lakes in the world is trapped beneath 2 miles of ice near the South Pole. For 15 to 25 million years sunlight and atmospheric gases have not been able to penetrate the thick ice. Lake Vostok was discovered by Russian scientists and they’ve spent the last 20 years drilling a hole in the ice in hopes of getting a sample of the liquid freshwater from beneath the ice. Scientists are interested in what type of life could survive in an extreme environment such as Lake Vostok. If there is life in a lake trapped beneath the ice for millions of years with no sunlight, it means it’s more likely that alien life could survive on other planets. 

Each die-cut sticker is a thick, durable vinyl with a matte finish. They are resistant to scratching, water, and sunlight.
